DESCRIPTION

The Salesian Association (ASME) is made up of undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering and related fields who seek to expand their knowledge and network in the field. We are a community committed to the integral development of its members and service to society. We strive to foster continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in the field of mechanical engineering through academic, social, and research activities.


MISSION

Our mission is to promote the integral formation of mechanical engineering students, based on the Salesian values ​​of solidarity, respect, and social commitment. We seek to provide an inclusive and supportive environment where students can develop their technical skills, leadership, and social responsibility, preparing them to face the challenges of the world of work with ethics and professionalism in the field of engineering.


VISION

We envision ourselves as a benchmark in the field of mechanical engineering, recognized for our academic excellence, spirit of service, and contribution to the sustainable development of society. We aspire to be a dynamic and proactive community that promotes innovation, research, and knowledge sharing for the benefit of the university community and society at large.




ACTIVITIES


• We attend and organize conferences on topics related to the field.

• We organize workshops on different topics for Mechanical Engineering students and the general public.

• We organize competitions within the Mechanical Engineering program to put academic and technical knowledge into practice.

• We conduct campaigns for the student chapter and actively participate in the group.

• We participate in external competitions related to ASME International activities.

• We collaborate with ASME groups from other educational institutions to foster learning communities and networking.
